The FADL program is designed for young and old people who may find it difficult to achieve their drivers licence due to a variety of factors, including:

  • Low levels of numeracy/literacy (early school leaving)
  • Long term unemployment
  • Living in remote communities
  • Experiences of homelessness
  • Cultural barriers
  • Mental health
  • Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD)
  • Lack of access to a vehicle or licenced supervising driver
  • Living with a disability

Learning to drive is a key life skill that can help young people move towards independence and realise their education, employment and housing goals.

This project is being delivered in partnerships with other community organisations
